First full week in Reception

Hepworth, Van Gogh and Kandinsky classes have had a busy first week as a full classes. All the classes were excited to meet the children from week A & week B and have made lots of lovely friendships. We have been really impressed with the children learning the school rules so quickly and showing fantastic listening during carpet time.

Across the week we have been learning different number rhythms and the children enjoyed retelling these using the story basket objects in the book corners.

The children have also really enjoyed having lunch with all of their Reception friends this week.

To end the week, the children had a fantastic time in PE where they were learning to travel in different ways.
