Welcome to Bridgewater's Nursery

Vision

Our Nursery reflects the nurturing and supportive learning environment of our current Early Years provision where your child will grow and thrive.

Our Busy Blog

The Nursery Team consists of Mrs Gilkes (Nursery Lead), Mrs Tortora , Mrs Iaciofano, Miss MacLeod and Lunchtime Supervisor Mrs Sharp.

All members of the team work hard to offer a nurturing and supportive learning environment for the children to thrive and grow. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum with an emphasis on promoting the characteristics of effective learning. This approach fosters a love of learning and provides challenge linked closely to developmentally age appropriate experience.  We strive to create an environment where the children feel confident to explore and discover new things. As a Nursery, we understand that all children are unique and understand the importance of following their individual interests.

Welcome Back!

Welcome back Nursery! We have had an exciting week this week. We have fantastic news about our tadpoles as the majority have turned into frogs! The children have enjoyed counting how many tiny frogs we have and they all couldn't wait to see how miuch they had grown over the holidays. Other than that we have been pretending to be pirates in our roleplay area. The children helped eachother to build a pirate ship using boxes and pieces of fabric. In our maths area we have been looking at shapes. We've reminded ourselves of each shape and using them to see what other shapes and pictures they can make.
