Welcome to Bridgewater Primary Group B

It was a delight to say a big warm welcome to our wonderful 'Group B' Reception Class children and families who started their learning journey at Bridgewater Primary. The children have settled into their new classes and routines well as they have begun to explore the continuous provision areas and make new friends.

The children have had a busy, fun filled week exploring magnets, climbing outdoors, building, drawing, storytelling, riding bikes and singing rhymes. The children enjoyed sharing their summer diaries and exploring the mud kitchen and much, much more!

During the week the children started their phonic sessions learning their first few letter sounds m, a, t, i, s and learnt to build and write their very first few words.

To end the week the children had an enjoyable trip to the school library where Mrs Tasher the school librarian shared a special story from her story sack and the children chose their very first library books to take home to share with their families. There was lots of smiles in our PE session exploring different ways of travelling and driving our ambulances safely!

Another fabulous week was had by all!
