This year’s Science Week theme was linked to time. In our science sessions we planted runner beans learning what plants need to grow well. We have then observed the changes that have occurred over time.

We have been amazed by the speed of the changes as our beans are growing taller by the day! We have learnt lots of new vocabulary to include shoot, germinate, sprouting, stem, leaves, unfurling, roots and have been discussing the meaning of these new words.

We wonder how tall our beanstalk will grow?
