Head's Blog
Welcome to this celebration of learning blog. I always think of the blogs as providing a window to look into the children’s fascinating world at school. I am in the privileged position to be able to capture events across the school and community as they happen and share them with you. It’s also a bit like a diary in that you can look back and see a colourful reflection of the year.

Recently we have been able to twin classes again and it was lovely to see older and younger children enjoying reading together again. We did this for World Book Day organised by Miss Paine and Mrs Tasher organised a reading competition won by Alexander (Y1), Zac (Y4) and Abigail (Y6) who are all keen, prolific readers. The library is looking fantastic and Mrs Tasher is always surrounded by children from across the school, relaxing and reading at lunchtimes.
You can also see staff and a governor who were very impressed when they read the childrens writing together.
It's been lovely to see children reading and writing together again outside at lunchtimes in the sunshine. Keep reading everyone. 📚
