The Bridgewater float brought vibrant colour, joy and energy to the Northampton Town Carnival on Saturday parading with a variety of groups. The children, families and staff cheered and waved the whole way blowing bubbles and their kazoo's as well as waving streamers and their big hands! They looked fabulous in their T shirts and thank you to Dan our expert driver kept them all safe on our float. Thank you to everyone for their support and help but especially to Mrs Coleman who organised the whole event, Marta our governor who helped the children create the art work and transported it to the race course. Paul from Festival Road who expertly makes the big art with the children each year. The Abington Avenue United Reformed Church genorously provided us all with much needed drinks and home made cakes! Thank you to all the children and families with their beaming smiles and staff who gave up their time to enjoy supporting the school and town bringing together the community of Northampton. Special thanks must also go to Morcea Walker MBE, a legend in our town who works tirelessly producing carnivals each year and enabling us to celebratie our diverse community.
