On Monday the in Reception children were thrilled to receive some live eggs in an incubator to look after. There was a really excitement and lots of conversations about what might be inside.

By the afternoon changes were starting to happen...

We had our very first little hatchling!

Our very first little duckling. The duckling stayed in the incubator for a little while to rest after using all of its strength to crack out of the egg.

It was then transferred to its new cosy home.

It was not long before it was joined by two more ducklings.
