Head's Blog
Welcome to this celebration of learning blog. I always think of the blogs as providing a window to look into the children’s fascinating world at school. I am in the privileged position to be able to capture events across the school and community as they happen and share them with you. It’s also a bit like a diary in that you can look back and see a colourful reflection of the year.

Bridgewater had a wonderful evening at the Northampton Diwali Parade this year. The Year 3 children had made beautiful illuminated peacock lanterns out of willow and tissue paper that looked spectacular as darkness fell. The community collected together and paraded to the sound of drum beats around the historic town centre to celebrate Diwali. The characters of the story of Rama and Sita were represented as giant animations and moved majestically along with the children and families. There was a fantastic atmosphere and it was a privilidge to take part.
