Head's Blog
Welcome to this celebration of learning blog. I always think of the blogs as providing a window to look into the children’s fascinating world at school. I am in the privileged position to be able to capture events across the school and community as they happen and share them with you. It’s also a bit like a diary in that you can look back and see a colourful reflection of the year.

World Book Day 2024 was very special again this year. Miss Valentine, Mrs McNair, Mrs Tasher, the English research team and ambassadors planned a big reading event for us at Bridgewater. We had to represent our favourite book on a shoe or in a shoebox which linked to Northampton being the home of the shoe industry.
The families all worked hard together and the creations streamed into school on the big day and after being shared in twinning sessions with our class partners were presented in a Grand Exhibition to all the community after school. Now you can find them displayed around the school and im sure they they will also inspire you to read a new book or novel too.
A big thank you to our local residents who enjoyed sharing their favourite stories with our children in the afternoon.
