Head's Blog

Welcome to this celebration of learning blog. I always think of the blogs as providing a window to look into the children’s fascinating world at school.  I am in the privileged position to be able to capture events across the school and community as they happen and share them with you.  It’s also a bit like a diary in that you can look back and see a colourful reflection of the year.

Busy Learning at Bridgewater

We have been busy learning at Bridgewater this September and our new intake have settled in well and enjoyed exploring the setting and making new friends.

We have had some lovely weather and spent a lot of time outdoors investigating and playing with our friends.  Our NMPAT ukulele lessons have started in Y3 and everyone is concentrating hard and learning a new skill with the class ready to perform in 10 weeks time!  The children are fascinated to find  out about rocks and fossils and many have a keen interest and are already very knowledgable.  You can also see Y4 who have enjoyed designing and making buggies with axles and moving wheels.

Y6 should be packing now and getting ready to set off on our grand adventure to Osmington Bay next week. We will keep you updated on X and Facebook.
