Head's Blog
Welcome to this celebration of learning blog. I always think of the blogs as providing a window to look into the children’s fascinating world at school. I am in the privileged position to be able to capture events across the school and community as they happen and share them with you. It’s also a bit like a diary in that you can look back and see a colourful reflection of the year.

The Y5 children had a fantastic experience at the Frontier Centre at Irthingborough recently. The trip had been postponed due to lockdown and we managed to squeeze in just before the centre closed for the next lockdown.
Mrs Martin worked very hard with the Centre to make sure all the children had a wonderful time and didn't miss out. The centre staff were amazing the instructors were kind and encouraging - everything was very Covid-19 safe and sprayed and wiped - the chef prepared delicious meals. The children needed lots of energy for the High Wires (which were so high!) The Leap of Faith! Canoeing and archery.
In the evening 3 bonfires were lit for each bubble and they played games in the woods.
I enjoyed every minute with the children as it was in complete contrast to what is going on in the world. Everyone had a great time and laughed a lot and we were treated to a complete rainbow with such intense colours at the end of the day which arched across the centre - absolutely stunning.
