Head's Blog
Welcome to this celebration of learning blog. I always think of the blogs as providing a window to look into the children’s fascinating world at school. I am in the privileged position to be able to capture events across the school and community as they happen and share them with you. It’s also a bit like a diary in that you can look back and see a colourful reflection of the year.

Fun, laughter and learning , a busy week at Bridgewater! Word Guerrilla inspired us to perform poetry powerfully. Y2 made new friends at St Christopher's Care Home where they had a delicious Teddy Bears Picnic. Spanish Day was inspirational with our Spanish Ambassadors teaching groups of children alongside Mrs D'Agostino, Mrs Torres Espinola and Ruby who taught Flamenco with a flourish. A group came back from The Saints and had won all 14 rugby games and held the Champions Tophy! We spent time exploring the Bridgewater pond and Y6 met new friends at Abington Park transition to Y7 Sports event on a beautiful afternoon. Morcea visited Y6 and shared her captivating true experiences growing up as a Windrush child. We also met our New Intake families on Thursday evening which was a relaxed and lovely way to get to know each other and we're looking forward to The Fun Day session coming soon.
