This week has been full of many exciting activities celebrating Lunar New Year. 

We have been making lanterns, which helped us practice our scissor skills. We has a resturante setting in the role play area, and the children really enjoyed exploring the food and experimented using chopsticks. Alongide exploring the food we make noodles for snack which everyone enjoyed. To end the week we assembled our Chinese Dragon! Each child helped put it together, paint the boxes and cover it with red and gold materials. Finally we did a Dragon Dance and walked around the school to show everybody our hard work.
