Little Cloud

blog photo 170524

This week we have enjoyed reading the book Little Cloud by Eric Carle, our class artist. Whilst looking at different shaped clouds, we enjoyed taking part in a range of creative activities; cloud painting, where we used sponges to create our background and the end of a paintbrush to put patterns in the clouds. We played with shaving foam to see what cloud shapes we could make, and after this we had a go at making cloud dough. This consisted of cornflour and baby lotion. The children really enjoyed this as they all took part to mix and knead the dough.
