Head's Blog
Welcome to this celebration of learning blog. I always think of the blogs as providing a window to look into the children’s fascinating world at school. I am in the privileged position to be able to capture events across the school and community as they happen and share them with you. It’s also a bit like a diary in that you can look back and see a colourful reflection of the year.

We had the most amazing Northampton Town Carnival yesterday on the hottest day of the year!
Miss Williams had been busily organising 'Team Carnival' throughout this year and the whole team had worked hard to produce Bridgewater banners for the float with Paul from Festival Road and the amazing decorations that you can see. I love the picture of Miss Williams with Morcea Walker MBE who organises the event for the entire town every year. It pulls the whole community together and you can feel the happiness and warmth as we travelled the route with everyone waving, blowing bubbles, cheering and donating their coins for our chosen children's cancer charity. It was wonderful to see so many of Bridgewater around the route supporting the event.
This years theme was to celebrate 75 years since the ship, HMT Empire Windrush landed on our shores at Tilbury Docks with skilled workers from the Caribbean.
I can't thank the Bridgewater team enough for working so hard to make this happen, staff, governors and of course Danny, our amazing skilled DHL driver, who transports us safely each year with incredible skill around the tight twisty roads of Northampton.
This is the stuff that memories are made of and long may our community pull together in celebration with kindness and joy.
