Year 3 have had so much fun this week. They learnt the story called The Magic Paintbrush which originates from China. They learnt the text map for The Magic Paintbrush with lots of actions to help them remember each part of the story. Tell the story to your grown up, thinking about all the story telling techniques we learnt this week.

Once the children were confident with telling the story, they innovated and created their own version! We had magic mirrors, magic coins, magic footballs, magic paper and many more! The children drew their own text maps and enjoyed telling the stories on the story telling chair!
