Diwali Day

Wednesday 16th October was Diwali Day in year 3. The children enjoyed a fun-filled day of different Diwali activities. The children learnt all about the five days of Diwali and re-enacted the story of Rama and Sita using finger puppets they had made. The children also created beautiful Rangoli patterns using colourful tissue paper. Some of the children constructed and painted their own lanterns in a Diwali lantern making workshop and are excited about participating in the forthcoming Diwali Festival of Light parade in Northampton town centre with their hand made lanterns.
