A busy half term

Year 3 had a busy, but enjoyable end to the first half term of the year. Each of the year 3 classes met their new twinned classes for this year and shared some of their favourite books.

In DT, the children enjoyed constructing castles according to their designs, considering which parts they created using nets of 3D shapes.

Year 3 also took part in a dance workshop with a visiting dance teacher. Each class learnt a different type of dance: Jitterbug, Swing and Jive. They then confidently performed their dance routines to the other classes.

On Saturday 26th October, a group of year 3 children had a wonderful time in the Northampton Diwali parade, proudly carrying the lanterns they had made in the Diwali workshop at school.
