Welcome to Bridgewater Primary Group A

We would like to say a big warm welcome to our wonderful 'Group A' Reception Class children and families who started their learning journey here at Bridgewater Primary. We have been extremely proud of how well the children have settled into their new classes and routines, as they have begun to explore the continuous provision areas and make new friends.

The children have had a busy, fun filled week lego building, making puppets, sharing nursery rhymes, climbing, digging, drawing, exploring shapes, painting and riding the bikes.

The children started their phonic sessions learning their first few letter sounds m, a, t, i, s and learnt to build, read and write their very first words.

To end the week we had a fabulous PE session driving our ambulances and had and enjoyable trip to the school library where Mrs Tasher the school librarian told the children a special story from her story sack and the children chose their first library books to take home to share with their families.

What a fabulous week was had by all!
