What a busy half term!
We were outdoors in the Forest School area and we had a new playground laid outside Y1. The Friends organised a circus, a disco, and a Christmas Fair. We got better and better at walking in single file in quiet lines on the left. We've been to sports events, the Diwali parade in Northampton Town. Art lab was popular and the new kiln fired some beautiful poppies for Remembrance. We had rock and soil workshops. We wrote children's anti bullying and online policies. We had our book fair in the library and ambassadors showed the parents around on parents evening with exceptional manners.
The Christmas season started with Carols on the Green, as the sun set the community gathered together. The Christmas trees went up and our Friends ran the Christmas Fair with Santa in our grotto. Reception performed Whoops-a-Daisy Angel, and Y1 lit their Christingles for a beautiful Carol service. We raised money for the Hope Centre by wearing our Christmas jumpers. Y2 performed a stunning Boogie Woogie Nativity and the Y6 soirée was superb - so mature. Y3 sang and raised the roof in the stunning surroundings of Abington Church and the Nursery sing song was joyful. Heather and the TnS team cooked our delicious Christmas dinner and we sang and danced. Everyone in the community has done their very best, as always. Thank you for your support.
Have a lovely holiday with your families and we look forward to seeing you all again on January 4th 2024.
