Year 4

Welcome to Year 4

This year, in Year 4 the class teachers are Mrs Holding (4 Wiltshire), Miss Conroy and Mrs Watt (4 Milhazes) and Mr Yaseen (4 Fraser).  Mrs Watts, Mrs Woodard, Mrs O'Hanlon and Miss Poole, who are our teaching assistants, will be working alongside.  Mr Howard is our year group HLTA.

We are looking forward to the year ahead with a very exciting curriculum and some fantastic trips planned! We are loving Ancient Egypt already and are looking forward to using this platform to share our learning with you.

You will find our curriculum information further down the page!

Science Week Day One

We have had a fantastic start to Science Week today! This morning in assembly Mrs Hallet did an awesome experiment with carbon dioxide bubbles which made a big pop! Then we met a microbiologist who told us all about microorganisms and conducted an experiment to show how germs spread. We learned that we should wash our hands very, very well. Then we were lucky enough to meet Mr Khondkar who is a Doctor of Computer Science. He showed us some parts of a processor and explained how he had worked on 'Lane Assist' software and how it worked. It was very interesting and we had lots of questions! We are looking forward to tomorrow!

Cloud in a bottle

We had a moment of awe and wonder this week when we created a cloud in a bottle! Ask any member of Year Four and they should be able to explain the science behind it! We are looking forward to sharing our learning in Science Week next week! 11BE322E 6AEA 4E04 A90E D8F8F99FFBBF

4 Renoir Class Assembly

What an amazing assembly this afternoon my Miss Sheikh's class! Wonderful acting, singing and rapping! It was wonderful how you were able to show all of our learning in geography this term so far, including The Water Cycle and clouds. Well done to everyone for your hard work! FA972429 BC56 496D AF5F 861D902ACE1C

Egyptian Projects

All of the teachers and staff were overwhelmed by the magnificent projects that the children completed for Egyptian day! They were so creative, so informative and had obviously taken up lots of time and effort! Well done, everyone!
