Making circuits

This term, our topic in science is electricity. We have identified different electrical applicances we have at home and whether they are mains powered or battery powered.

We have now started to explore electrical circuits. Firstly, we made a circuit with a cell, wires and a bulb. We had to problem solve when our circuits didn't work! Then, we tested different items to see whether they were conductors. We couldn't belived adding a paper clip kept our circuit working! After that, we explored the use of switches and how they affected our circuits.
