This week in Science the children were challenged to try to make a boat for a jelly baby. They needed to use their knowledge around properties of different materials to select materials for their boat that would be waterproof and that would float and not sink. The children observed over 10 minute intervals and recorded what had happened to their boat. They had lots of fun working scientifically.
