Guide Dog Visit

Today, Year 6 had a really exciting visit from a guide dog, a trainee puppy, and their volunteer and owner. They told us all about what it’s like to live with sight loss and how guide dogs are trained to help. We learned how a puppy starts its journey and all the steps it takes to become a fully trained guide dog. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of empathy, inclusion, and the impact animals can have on human lives.
