Art Lab Science week

The Art Lab children embraced Science Week by making origami pinwheels.

This challenge involved some cutting as well as the usual careful folding.

It was quite tricky and they needed to revise some of their techniques to ensure the parts were not too tight in order to let the wheel spin.

Finally we tested them outside to ensure they worked! 

They did!
