Online Safety

At Bridgewater we are committed to developing your children as responsible online citizens. This means not only educating them in how to stay safe online whilst in school, but how to act responsibly when at home and when using technology without adult supervision.

Your children will receive ‘ Online Safety’ lessons as part of our whole curriculum with a specific focus during their Computing and PSHE lessons on a termly basis. Online Safety issues will also be reinforced during assemblies and through Safer Internet Day.

NSPCC - SEND Online Safety Hub

The NSPCC have made available a brand new online resource which will be useful for parents. Quote - Net Aware has partnered with Ambitious About Autism to bring online safety tips, advice and activities specifically for parents and carers of children with SEND.You can find the online safety hub HERE.  https://www.nspcc.org.uk/keeping-children-safe/online-safety/#SEND
