Art Lab- Observational drawing

Art Lab was so busy this week we split into two groups.

The first group continued with their various origami projects.

The second group focused on honing their observational drawing skills of springtime daffodils.

They looked closely at their delicates shapes, how the petals overlapped and the tiny veins and ridges in them.

They experimented with different grades of pencil and talked about the similarities and differences of the work in their sketchbooks.

We are already looking forward to next week's meeting!
