This term's home learning has been linked to our theme 'Between a Rock aand a Hard Place'. In school have been learning about the Stone, Bronze and Iron Age and the children have selected a specific area of interest to reseach furtherfor their home learning. We had a wide variety of creative projects including videos, PowerPoints, models, fact files, stories, artwork and display boards.

Some children researched how fossils ere formed, discussed specific types of fossils or designed their own fossils.

Other children researched how dwellings developed throughout the Stone Age and made models of the different types of 'homes' during the Palaeolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic times.

It was also lovely to see that many children had been inpsired by our art learning to continue to research cave art around the world and the techniques that were used to paint images.  We also had many projects that were linked to our learning about Stone Henge and Skara Brae.

It was lovely to see all the projects on display this week for parents to enjoy.

Well done for all you hard work Year 5!
