World Book Day

The children had a fantastic day celebrating their love of reading! It was wonderful to see everyone with their favourite books and sharing their recommended read with their friends. In the afternoon, the children met up with their twinned classes and took turns to listen to extracts from each other’s books. It has been fantastic to see their excitement surrounding the ‘Share a Million Stories’ challenge. Thank you to everyone that has remembered to bring in their book marks with total number of shares at home.

In class, we have just started reading The Diary of a Killer Cat by Anne Fine.  Over the next few weeks, we will be looking closely at the features of a diary in preparation for writing our own diary entry.
