This week is Anti-Bullying Week and as a school, we have been focusing on Courage.

In Year 2, we thought about what courage means and talked about how we need to be brave and sometimes we have to do things even if we are scared.

We read a story about a boy called Milton who had a jar of courage, which helped him to feel brave.  We then decided what ingredients we would put into our own 'jars of courage'.

Finally, we learnt a new skill - making origami boats!  These will form part of a whole school display on courage and everyone in the school will have made a piece of origami to contribute to the display.
