This term, we are exploring materials in Science. We will be distinguishing an object from its material, describing it's properties and discussing a materials suitability. 

This week, we sorted different materials in our groups. First, we identified what material the objects were made from. Then we sorted the materials by their properties. We came up with lots of different properties including: rigid, soft, flexible, transparent, opaque and many more. 

We even found that some objects could be sorted into multiple groups. For example, the glass could go in both the transparent and hard group.
