This week Year 1 had an exciting experience!
We were lucky enough to have a 'virtual visit' from a local author, Samantha Downes. Samantha has written a brilliant book called 'Ginny the Ghost' that the children have been reading in school. The children were able to ask her some questions about being an author and to find out inside information about the characters and the inspiration behind them.
We were very grateful to Samantha for giving the children an experience like this, with the help of technology, and the children were thrilled to meet an author.
