Dissecting hearts

In our science lesson this week, we have been dissecting lamb hearts,  The children made careful observations and drew sketches as they dissected the different section which they chose to explore.  The lesson really captured the children's interest and providing them with awe and wonder; many children even stating it was the 'best science lesson ever!'  Next week, we will build on this work by looking at the structure and function of the heart.
