Throughout the week the children have been making wind wands. they had to use matatlic string and lolly pop sticks. After the first step of making the wand the children got to go outside and test it out. The children were observing which direction the wind was blowing their wand.
At the start of the week, we had a special visitor called a microbiologist. We looked at how we should be washing our hands and what germs are. In the Nursery, we have been using glitter to represent germs and talking about how important it is to make sure they are all gone.
Lastly, the children have been making their own bubble solution outside. Once they had finished this task they wanted to blow some bubbles. Everyone was trying a variety of different resources to see if they could create bubbles and see them float.
