Carnival 2021

This afternoon, Thursday 10th of June, the children formed a carnival procession around the school grounds.  Nobody could have anticipated what a joyous event it would be.  The 660 children and staff danced and paraded around the grounds in brightly coloured head dresses that they had made, banging instruments and moving together in unison to music on the sound system.

April and Ashley were visiting school from the Northampton carnival committee on behalf of Morcea Walker to add photos of our event to all the community events happening around town.

it felt like a turning point as it was the first time we had all been together as a whole school after lockdown.  I wish you could all have been there but you should be able to see the event on the Northampton Carnival website in all its glory.  Thank you so much to Mrs Watson for organising our fabulous contribution to the Virtual Northampton Town Carnival 2021.
