Cross Country Champs

The Bridgewater cross country team had a great afternoon yesterday at the very muddy Abington Park.  There was a huge turnout of schools and spectators making for a great atmosphere.  The children gave their all both in the competitions and as spectators by cheering on all the runners from different schools and encouraging them.

We enjoyed lots of success with Dylan and Malachy coming first and second in the Y6 boys race respectively showing grit and determination, as did Katy who came fourth in the Y4 girls race with another Katy in 6th place. Tom came fourth in the Y5 boys race.  Then Hattie came 5th and Jolie 9th in the Y5 race. All 38 children placed very well and they tried very hard, persevering to achieve their best.

It was great to see our past students from NSB, Peter and Archie running as Pacesetters for the races.
