Osmington Bay

Y6 have had a fabulous trip down at Osmington Bay this week.  The weather was kind and the children were able to enjoy also sorts of activities from rock climbing to beach walks, rifle shooting and aeroball to name a few – there are several pictures on twitter @BridgewaterPrim.  We went to the Olympic Sailing Centre in Weymouth and skilfully built rafts which they clung on to and sailed in the harbour.  The instructors were very well trained, lots of fun and looked after us perfectly.  The children all achieved new skills, conquered fears and showed great maturity.  A special thank you to Mr Lagdon, group leader, and the team of staff and parents who cared and looked after all the children all day and night this week!  Everyone will be very weary after all the excitement and challenges but can reflect this weekend on happy memories that will stay with them forever.

Parking

There have been complaints this week from local residents about the parking in Trinity Road and we are reminding you to park with care and consideration.  Please don’t park on pavements or block driveways as the residents are struggling to get out of their driveways to get to work on time.

Year 5 Football

The Y5 footballers had a great tournament this week at Benham and Lucas, one of our team members said ‘they worked really well as a team.’  Well done Year 5 footballers.

Y5 and Y6 at Pick Up Time

After a successful trial, the Year 5 and Year 6 children will be departing after school out of the small gate next to the Nursery beginning next week, supervised by staff.
