In art this term we have been designing our own vases inspired by the Ancient Greeks. We looked at what shapes they sculpted their vases as well as looking at the earthy colours and patterns they used. We found out that the Greeks often created vases with Greek myths, sports or activities painted on them. 

This week we have created our own Greek inspired vases from ModRoc and chicken wire. We used the chicken wire to create the skeleton of the vase and then used the Modroc to help sculp the shape. After that we used different shades of orange, brown and black paint to decorate our vases.
