Magic mile

This week, year 5 have began a new challenge, which we have called 'the magic mile'.

 

For 15 minutes at a time, we walk, jog or run around the running track. If we manage to complete 11.5 laps, we have ran a mile! The aim is that each time we complete the magic mile, the children will try their best to beat their own personal best (without worrying about the achievements of others).

 

 This will improve the children's fitness and endurance levels, as well as concentration levels in the classroom. We look forward to updating you on everybody's progress!
