Church's Shoes

We were lucky enough to have a visit from Simon Hill at Church's shoes. He gave us a wonderful talk on the history of the shoe trade in Northampton and the reasons why we became a shoe making town. We were able to see many different types of leather and learned all about the shoe making process. Did you know that a the most expensive Church's shoes cost £3800 per pair! We thank Church's for their visit which was so important in bringing our theme alive!
