Winter!

9B2790ED 67ED 4DFD 85AA FB1757429F43

For the last couple of weeks we have been looking at the book ‘Snowball’ by Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet. We have enjoyed exploring the book and lots of things to do with winter. We got the chance to feel snow powder in a tuft spot and we talked about what it felt like. In P.E we have been using what we know about snow to move our bodies like snowflakes, going faster, slower, higher and lower. In phonics we went on a ‘listening walk’ to see if we could identify any wither sounds. Lastly, the children have been getting creative and made their own houses like the ones from the Snowball story. The children had to identify the shapes they were using and then count how many sides each shape had as a challenge.
