Easter Celebrations

It was wonderful to see the children in their colouful and creative Easter bonnets. The Nursery children proudly showed off their creations as they visited the Early Years classes and office staff on their parade. They had clearly been very busy at home making their bonnets and we would like to thank you for taking the time to support your child with this. Following the bonnet parade, the children spent time visiting Early Years in small groups. They were particularly impressed with the large sandpit and the construction area. The Early Years children offered a helping hand and showed them how to carefully use the resources. Later that day, we were treated to Easter cakes that the Early Years children had made especially for us!

Throughout the week, the children took part in an Easter Egg hunt where they counted how many eggs they had found and made comparisons about the amounts. They looked carefully to see who had found more, less or the same amount as them. They then went on to find the matching numerals.

We look forward to updating you on more learning adventures in the Summer Term!
