Birthday Baking

Last week, we were busy learning about birthday celebrations! We were inspired by the book, ‘It’s My Birthday’ and decided to bake our own cakes just like the story. We practised washing our hands and talked about the different ingredients. Everyone had an important role to play in baking the cakes including measuring the ingredients, pouring them into the bowl and stirring it all together. We decorated the cakes with chocolates and counted out the correct amount for how old we are. Our favourite part was eating the cakes with our friends!
