Head's Blog

Welcome to this celebration of learning blog. I always think of the blogs as providing a window to look into the children’s fascinating world at school.  I am in the privileged position to be able to capture events across the school and community as they happen and share them with you.  It’s also a bit like a diary in that you can look back and see a colourful reflection of the year.

Memories

Year 4 have been welcomed warmly by the staff and residents at St Christopher’s Care Home near Abington Park.  The children had lots of questions linked to their theme about Northampton in the past.  The children were fascinated hearing about Northampton during the war, the local shoe industry and about Queen Eleanor Cross.  It was lovely to see the smiling faces as they listened intently and we are very grateful for the opportunity organised by the St Christopher’s staff and Mrs Irwin.
