Head's Blog

Welcome to this celebration of learning blog. I always think of the blogs as providing a window to look into the children’s fascinating world at school.  I am in the privileged position to be able to capture events across the school and community as they happen and share them with you.  It’s also a bit like a diary in that you can look back and see a colourful reflection of the year.

Bridgewater Summer Fayre 2018

The Friends of Bridgewater organised an  afternoon of fun and games for everyone at the annual Summer Farye.  Over 600 people came to join in with circus skills, see the magician and  have a go on the police bike.  There was a delicious barbecue, the choir, a dance troop and amazing raffle prizes. There was the scouts obstacle course, face painting and all the old favourites like, ‘pick a stick’. We could also enjoy the football on the big screen in the hall with all the community!  It was a very warm afternoon but Pino was there with his fantastic ice creams.  Thank you to everyone who worked so hard throughout the year to make it a brilliant day, raising lots of money for the school children.
