Y6 Mixed Football Club

Miss Peal has started her Y6 mixed football club which has been well attended.  The children enjoyed the training session showing great team work and resilience. 

School Photographs

You will have a received a ParentMail about the school photographs which will take place on Wednesday 19^th October. All the children need to come in to school in smart uniform that day and there will be no P.E.

Please continue to send in your harvest donations which we are collecting in the library for the Hope Centre.

Can I remind all parents to register with BoomReader if you haven’t already done so.  I can’t emphasise enough the importance of reading and sharing books with your children.  The more words they come across in books, the more they will start to understand and recognise. They can then recognise and read words that they have seen in a text in the future as well as apply them in their writing, which will ensure that their writing becomes more interesting and vibrant. If you need support with registering please speak to the class teacher.

Diwali Parade - Date for your Diary

The Northampton Diwali Parade takes place on the evening of Saturday 15^th October and Bridgewater Y3 children will represent us there with their illuminated creations, setting off from the Guild Hall at 6pm.  It is an absolute spectacle which all children would love to see as there are also huge illuminated animatrons which move around the town centre with us in a procession.  You are all welcome to come along if you’re free that evening.
