Bridgewater ‘Friends’ Christmas Trail!

Don't forget to buy your map for this year's Bridgewater Christmas Trail! Back by popular demand the trail is an opportunity to get out for a festive walk with your family and friends, find some clues, solve a puzzle and win book tokens! This year there are some animals to spot for the smaller children too. The trail runs between Friday 10th and Tuesday 21st December. Maps cost £3 per family and are available on the Friends' website www.pta-events.co.uk/friendsofbridgewaterprimary. All of the money raised will be used to enhance the children's experience at Bridgewater, so thank you to the Friends for all their hard work!

Forest School

Also, a huge thanks to our ‘Friends’ for funding some very exciting tepees for our Forest School area including a sensory tepee.  They have also funded a bug hotel for our Bridgewater minibeasts that the children will enjoy studying.  Not only that but we also have a fabulous potion station and we will have to see what the children create with that one!  There are pictures on Twitter and I think you will agree that the children are very lucky to have such fabulous resources. 

STEM Project

Thank you to Mrs Hallett and the Y2 students from the University who had us all making boxes from nets of cubes across the school.  There was lots of learning and fun for everyone. 

Nut Free School

Please remember not to send any food items into school containing nuts, such as Nutella, as we have several children with severe nut allergies. 

Gymnastics Competition

Well done to our gymnasts today who performed very well against other schools as well as being very good sports.

Little Traffic Safety People

We have been moving our little family of road safety people around the drop off zone this week to encourage everyone to drive carefully and not to park inappropriately.  The drop off zone is only for people who hold a blue badge or if they are attending before or after school clubs.
