Dear Parents
We have had a lovely week as the children have transitioned seamlessly back into school. We are a happy learning community.
Hot Dinners
The school dinners have been popular this week with some of our highest numbers ever. Our school meals are freshly prepared and can be booked the evening before.
Orchestra
We are delighted that we are starting our Years 4, 5 and 6 orchestra again soon, in socially distanced bubbles. It will be wonderful to hear them. Mrs Holding will be sending a letter out shortly with the details.
Reminders
Diversity
Staff had an inspiring speaker talk to us about diversity this week, which will enrich our inclusion curriculum.
Kurling
The Year 1 Kurling Competition this morning was fantastic. They really loved it and it was great to teach them a new skill. We are hoping to use the equipment in small groups in PE lessons next week to give the whole year group a chance at trying it out. Well done Myla, in 1 Kusama, who was our champion!
Red Nose Day - Friday 19 March 2021
We will be holding a mufti day on Friday 19 March. We are asking children not to wear their red noses in school this year; however, to show your support please wear something red. A payment item will be set up on ParentMail for you to donate to the Comic Relief fund shortly.
Have a lovely weekend and a special Mother’s Day on Sunday.
