Dear Parents
Year 6 SATs
Well done Year 6, who were cool, calm and collected and approached the SATs with great maturity this week and well done to the staff who have prepared them and made sure everything ran smoothly. Thank you to ‘The Friends’ for providing Pino’s ice cream van surprise today to say well done to Year 6 for doing their very best.
National Walk to School Week
“Next week it is National Walk to School Week. The initiative, founded by ‘Living streets’, aims to encourage more people to walk, wheel, scoot, or cycle either all or part of the way to school. The benefits of doing so are plentiful; increased wellbeing, greater awareness of the outdoors, less congestion and reduced carbon emissions to name a few!
We therefore encourage you to walk, wheel, scoot or cycle to school this week and see the benefits for yourselves! If walking all the way just isn’t possible, consider parking a little further from school and walking the remainder of the way. Look out for your child’s ‘five-day challenge’ journal (which they will be bringing home from school today) that aims to promote the benefits of walking, wheeling, scooting or cycling to school.”

Car Park Drop Off Zone
A member of staff was delayed in supporting with the Year 6 SATs this week because she was held in a queue of three cars trying to turn around in front of the barrier. Please park safely and courteously along a local road and don’t tailgate staff cars.
If you have a blue disability badge, please display it clearly on your dashboard on entering the site and drive with due care and attention.
RSE (Relationships, Sex Education) Drop In
If you were unable to attend on Thursday evening, you will find information on the website provided by ‘Jigsaw’ and if you have any specific questions send them via Seesaw during school hours. Thank you to the staff who supported parents with their questions.
Have a lovely weekend
