Inclusion Coffee Morning
Next Tuesday, 1st April it is the Inclusion Coffee morning from 9:00am to 9:45am. Mrs McNair, Assistant Headteacher and English Leader, will be talking about writing. These sessions have been found to be very useful and give a good insight into the approach to SEND and inclusion in different subjects. Please come along if you think this information would be useful.
Year 3 Roman Day
Dan from Portals to the Past visited Year 3 this week and spent the day sharing his passion for history, teaching them all about the Romans. He was very impressed with the children’s behaviour and knowledge.
Year 1 Road Safety
Year 1 have been very busy and practising their road safety at the zebra crossings this week. Please reinforce how to cross safely with the children when next crossing a road and build their responsibility for keeping themselves safe.
New Parking Update
There was another accident in the drop off zone this week! Cars are driving too fast, opening doors on to the road and without due care and attention.
After Easter a barrier is being installed at the entrance of the car park with number plate recognition. If you have been issued a blue badge and require access to the turning circle you will need to bring proof to the school office in order for your car details to be registered on the system.
Please ensure there is no parking across the driveways of local residents but park at a safe distance and walk into school.
Year 5 & 6 Gymnastics Competition
Well done to our gymnasts; Sienna, Poppy, Beau and Olivia who competed in the Pacesetter’s interschool competition this morning coming fifth out of nine schools.
Easter Egg Donations
Thank you for your generous donations of Easter eggs today. Mrs Douglas will give all donations to Jeanette who will distribute to dis-advantaged children across Northamptonshire.
Termly Learning Conferences
The Year 6 Termly Learning Conferences are next week, Monday 31st March and Wednesday 2nd April. Please ensure you sign up for all other year groups which are being held after Easter, this will go live on Monday at 6pm.
