Good Manners

Another lovely week – sunshine and smiles. The children are even better at walking around the school smartly this year and are showing great kindness and manners. I was very impressed with the enthusiasm of a group of Year 1 children who were helping out and recycling pens this week – saving the planet!

Family Breakfasts

It was great to see so many people enjoying the family breakfasts on Wednesday and Friday mornings between 8 – 8.30am.  All are welcome.

Year 3 Ukelele NMPAT Project

Year 3 have made a very good start learning the Ukelele with Mrs Dicken from NMPAT. The children have 10 weeks and will amaze us with what they have learnt in a concert at the end. It is a fantastic opportunity for all the children who pass through Year 3.

New Intake

Group A have settled very well into Reception this week and have enjoyed exploring the provision. They have been building impressive large structures outside – I think we have some future engineers. We are looking forward to meeting and getting to know Group B who are starting school next week.

Tours of the School for September 2025

I showed the first group of prospective families around for September 2025. They were a lovely group and were able to see the smart organised environment and children focused on their learning in the classrooms and around the school.
